The Home Edition of MiniTool Partition Wizard is a full-featured and highly useful partition manager designed to cover all your most pressing partition-related needs at no charge. The amount and quality of the functionality that this free tool offers makes it stand out from the rest of its competitors. It adds a partition and disk copy functionality to its already extensive list of partition-related tools.
When launched, the program opens a main menu with access to those two apps – the partition wizard itself and a limited version of MiniTool Power Data Recovery, which will allow you to recover up to 1 GB of accidentally lost or deleted information (including partitions) from any storage device. Useful as this extra tool is, it is the program’s partition-related functionality that makes this app a referent in the field. Its intuitive interface will show you all partitions existing on your system’s disks – both fixed and removable – in a clear graphical way, and will offer you three useful wizards and a number of other functions to help you manage your disks’ partitions in a simple and convenient way. The wizards will guide you when recovering partitions as well as when copying disks and partitions. Other features relate to basic disks’ management (for dynamic disks you will need to upgrade to any of the commercial editions available), and they cover moving, resizing, creating, hiding, deleting, splitting, aligning, and formatting basic partitions, together with file system and disk style conversions. Both FAT and NTFS systems are supported, and you can convert between them in an efficient and straightforward way using MiniTool Partition Wizard.
Some other interesting features include the possibility of rebuilding the Master Boot Record (MBR) of a disk, wiping a full disk, testing the surface of any of your disks (including USB removable storage units), converting disks between types (GPT and MBR), etc.
The program’s interface includes some disabled options that will trigger a somehow confusing message informing you that the selected feature is not available in this Home Edition, urging you to upgrade to any of the commercial editions provided. Actually, except for a set of undoubtedly interesting and useful “additional functions”, this free Home Edition covers most of the features required for a meaningful basic disk management and an advanced partition management. All in all, a tool worth trying and keeping.
An application you can use when you want to recover lost or deleted partitions.

POOR service... and I should have known when I saw that they were part of "Digital River" company.
